Wonderful Home and People

We have had the pleasure of visiting Treasure Beach several times before. Treasure Beach is a charming series of small fishing villages and villas that hug the South Coast of Jamaica. The atmosphere is very relaxed, serene, and yes, safe. Treasure Beach is filled with the most welcoming, honest, clever, enterprising, and resilient people we have ever known.

This was our first stay at La Sirena. We enjoyed our 10-day visit to La Sirena immensely and strongly recommend. It was far larger than the two of us needed, but the numerous areas in which to lounge and relax were a major benefit. At any time of day, there were places to lie in the warm sun or sit in the cool shade. The view of the ocean from under the large cabana on the pool deck is beautiful and inspirational. Everything from lights to refrigerators to ceiling fans functioned flawlessly. The Wi-Fi was strong and reached outside around the pool. We barely used it, but streaming TV was available. The king bed was firm but comfortable. The solar water tank provided ample hot water for cleaning and showers. The pool was clear and refreshing. The beach was clean with good swimming holes a few steps away from the stairs. We even succumbed to using the A/C a couple of nights that cooled our bedroom efficiently.

The people that made La Sirena special were Monica, Beyonce and Taeshin. They are a wonderful, personable, patient and helpful team that maintains La Sirena spotlessly. Monica and Beyonce are excellent chefs that prepare fresh, hand crafted, delicious meals that include Jamaican favorites as well as breakfasts with eggs, bacon, pancakes and French toast. They can, and will, prepare whatever is desired. Taeshin is an accomplished caretaker, fisherman, and boat captain that can arrange for excursions to Pelican Bar. Much of the seafood served at La Sirena is caught with Taeshin’s own hands. We met them as strangers, but I feel we left as friends.

As of February 2026, there remained some obvious damage from hurricane Melissa in the area, but La Sirena appeared to be fully repaired. Also, many of the Treasure Beach “hotspots” (Jakes, Jack Sprat, Fisherman’s, Lloyd’s and Frenchman’s Bay) were restored and open for business. There were places to go and things to do.

5 star

We spent a few days at La Sirena (2 families of 4) and highly recommend to anyone looking to spend time in this part of Jamaica. The property is top notch and has a spacious layout (ample dining, living, sleeping, deck and recreational areas). Pool and terrific secluded beach. The staff is wonderful and we hope we are fortunate enough to go back very soon.

Dream villa

Honestly I think La Sirena is the best villa we have ever stayed in. The layout is great and there are two identical main bedrooms, which makes it so attractive for friends staying together. Lots of shade outside, which is so vital. The views from the bedrooms and deck are wonderful and we had lovely walks and swims along the almost deserted beach. Great to be away from the crowds. The staff were delightful - delicious food and looked after us so well. Would really love to stay there again.

It's the BEST

We return to La Sirena year after year as our home away from home. Monica, Taeshin and Beyonce are like family to us---their attentive warm care is only surpassed by the scrumptious food that comes from the kitchen---Monica is a masterful chef! The deck is set up perfectly to be one with the outdoors--plenty of comfortable shady places to spend gazing at the ocean during the day with a perfect corner to enjoy the sunset and the stars. The half mile sandy beach provides the perfect barefooted walk with quaint beach bars on the way. The folks at Treasure Tours are so responsive and professional. We absolutely love La Sirena, Treasure Beach and Jamaica!

The Sunrises and The Sunsets

Monica, Taeshin, Ashanti, and CJ, we really enjoyed staying with you all over the winter holidays! We miss the beautiful sunrises and sunsets on the lovely, peaceful deck. But, we miss Monica's fried chicken and homemade mashed potatoes the most!!! ????

Thank you all for caring for us ❤️ We soon come! ???? ????????

Perfect mellow getaway

We had wanted a place off the beaten track that was a lower key experience from commercialized Ocho Rios/Negril/Mobay, and La Sirena was perfect for everyone in our group of 8 (2 young teens, 2 adults and 4 grandparents). The villa was clean, spacious and private. We loved the outdoor space where there was a spot for everyone to relax. The management -- Rebecca and Debbian -- were super communicative. They were immediately responsive and helpful to emails to ensure everything was in order for checkin, and also personally after we had arrived. The onsite staff -- Monica and Taeshon -- were so friendly and took excellent care of us and the property. Monica helpfully accommodated our dietary needs and Taeshon also arranged for a fishing boat to take us to Lloyd's Pelican Bar from down the beach (highly recommend!). Overall, La Sirena was a wonderful time for all -- THANK YOU!

Perfect chill getaway

We (5 adults, 2 boys - 16 and 12) all truly loved our time in Jamaica! We were not looking for a crowded touristy spot ... this was perfect! We were spoiled by Monica and Taeshin all week... the food was amazing each day and the luxury of not having to worry about groceries or cooking was super special! We celebrated two birthdays during our visit and they whipped up treats to help celebrate! We felt safe and supported throughout the tip even when not at the home .... our van drivers, Captain Dennis and crew, and the local people were all kind. The support and communication from Rebecca and Debbian with Treasure Tours was phenomenal all along! We adventured to Jakes one day and enjoyed some food and drinks with amazing service. We walked a little bit down the beach and enjoyed snacks and cocktails at the bar down the beach. We also took an adventure with Captain Dennis (along with Taeshin) ..... we headed to the black river, The Pelican Bar and then hung out at a special little beach spot where we floated about on the shore line, swung on swings in the ocean and hammocks tucked under a thatched roof ... and the lunch!! so amazing <3 We loved out little beach area right down the path from our house ... where we were protected by the bigger waves and could explore the coral looking for ocean creatures. The pool and outside area of the home were Perfect for us! the hammock was a popular spot as well as the day bed for a nap! The pool was a perfect size for us and candidly, we spent most of our time outside lounging, playing cards, swimming, eating breakfast and dinner and napping. This vacation was absolutely perfect for all of us ... and we all want to come back soon!!

Wonderful relaxing stay. Boat ride was my favourite! We enjoyed exploring Treasure Beach and surrounding activities. The house was open and breezy with plenty of space to spread out. Lots of spaces to relax.

Heavenly location

We had a lovely, restorative week at La Sirena over Christmas. The setting is magical and we barely felt the need to leave the property. The beach is clean and secluded and has lots of nice spots to lounge in shallow water but is hard to go for longer swims due to reef and riptides. We really enjoyed being in a low key fishing village rather than on the touristy side of the island. Monica and her son took wonderful care of us and made everything super easy. We definitely hope to come back!
