Ready for an Adventure?
The Pisgah Pineapple Farm is one of Jamaica’s hidden treasures, located about 30 minutes beyond YS Falls. The scenic drive winds high into the hills, offering spectacular views before the adventure continues with a short ride in a four-wheel-drive pickup to the farm.
You’ll be welcomed by Tomalo with fresh coconut water served straight from the coconut before he shares the fascinating history of the farm, its 13 varieties of pineapple, and how his great-grandfather introduced pineapples to the area over a century ago.
Enjoy a delicious traditional Jamaican lunch of roasted sweet potatoes, yams, and saltfish, made even better with some of the sweetest fresh pineapple you’ll ever taste. Then stroll through the pineapple fields and surrounding bush as Tomalo introduces you to local plants, crops, and a crystal-clear spring where you can drink pure mountain water.
Before you leave, everyone receives a fresh pineapple to take home. Then it’s back into the pickup truck for the ride to the main road.
On the drive back to Treasure Beach, stop in Middle Quarters to sample the famous roadside peppered shrimp—best enjoyed with a cold Red Stripe!
This is far more than a tour—it’s an authentic glimpse into the heart of rural Jamaica, where breathtaking scenery, warm hospitality, fascinating history, and unforgettable flavours combine to create a day you’ll be talking about long after you’ve returned home.
