The perfect place for two families

Wow -- we couldn't have asked for a better place to spend the xmas holidays. We rented Villa de la Sable and Villa de l'Ocean for 9 days, bringing together two families (three couples, two singles, two babies). Each house had two bedrooms with queen beds, views of the ocean, and an adjoining balcony. Plus two bathrooms with showers, and an upstairs hallway with a big futon/sofa that functions as a single bed (definitely big enough for an adult) -- plus each house has a baby's crib. The houses are separate enough to provide plenty of private living/reading/eating space for each family, with a pool and a gazebo between the houses for socializing with everyone. The housekeepers/cooks made fantastic meals for breakfast and dinner --- we pulled two tables together and all ate in one house. Compared to friends with big families that stayed in nearby hotels, we felt we had a better experience. They were wrangling kids, waiting around for food in the restaurants, while we had a relaxing dinner and could put the babies to sleep if they were fussy. Plus the gorgeous private pool and deck! The best surprise was the beautiful, quiet beach shared by only a few houses. Treasure Tours was very responsive, timely, clear, and helpful in their emails. Rebecca and Debbian helped arranged transport to and from the airport and even helped get us around the village in a pinch. A real family vibe among the employees. This is a real winner. Way better than a corporate hotel.

Villa de la Sable

We just came back from the villa de la sable and we had the best experience. The property is your ow little piece of paradise! It's gorgeous and the staff is exceptional! We walked everywhere and felt completely safe. The people of Billy's bay were warm and welcoming! We can't wait to return! There's no place else I'd want to vacation in Jamaica ever again!

Great Trip

The Villa de la Sable was even better than expected. The pictures do not do it justice, with an great pool, wonderful places for hanging out on the grounds, and an amazing staff. We were four adults and one small child and it was a great size.

Best vacation ever. I loved the home, the beach and the pool. The best part, however, was the staff. So friendly, so accommodating. Thank you so much. Hope to be back.

Breathtaking Views and Secluded Getaway

My husband and I had to attend a family reunion nearby and were looking a home to rent. Little did we know we would land a breathtaking oasis with heavenly views. We didn't get to spend as much time as we would have liked in the home, due to all of the family activities, which is why every moment was even more special. Petrina was kind enough to schedule our meals around the times we knew we would be home. The first night we arrived, we were exhausted after our flight and drive. Rebecca and the grounds keepers were ready and waiting to greet us. It was relieving to know Petrina had already prepared our dinner and there was nothing to worry about. We lucked out as there was no one else renting out the other homes, which meant we had the pool all to ourselves! The oversized pool and jacuzzi overlooking the crashing ocean waters was like a scene from a movie. We spent time reading on the hammocks and enjoyed the simple life. Even though the grueling summer heat would normally be uncomfortable, there was something about having all of the windows and doors open with the ocean breeze flowing in. We had air conditioning in the bedrooms, which was very important for us while we slept. Overall, with the views, private chef, and serenity, you cannot beat this property. We can't wait to return and enjoy our next trip.

Perfect Weekend or long Weeked gateway

I were planning with my friend's family to book the place for 2 days with small children. However, due to some issues my friend had to cancel. As the booking was already made we decided to go by our self. It turned out to be an excellent weekend away from the hustle bustle yet excellent location and setting. The place is well maintained and cook service was just excellent. The only word of caution is the small secluded beach that is also shared by another house near by. Beware of the dogs as they are real bad so to say. The dogs should not be left open as guests can be harassed by dogs, being strangers. Pool is super cool with kids or adults.

Perfect with little child and more

So here it goes. We stayed on the sparkling waters property which includes villa la ocean and villa de la sable for 22 days. We had 5 people first 11 days little kid included in le ocean and 4 people for the last 11 days in de sable. Both villas share the large swimming pool and this is not a problem especially that you not always have a guests in another villa and so all this amazing property is to yourself. Both villas are very similar and we loved the both so much that is hard to say which one is better. Same goes for the both amazing cooks that will cook you a lobster you will never forget. All stuff is very friendly . Village itself is very mellow and the friendliest place you can imagine. All entertainment and restaurants are about a mile down the road 20-25 minutes of a pleasant walk. Beach is just down the stairs not the most luxurious but very private and we loved it. There is another beach about 5 min walking other way and it is really nice too. To make the story short if you like a quite vacation have a small kids don't want to do much of the activities and just lay down on the sun relax and eat a good food you will find a lot of serenity in that place and comfort in those villas. It is a little treasure itself inside of the treasure beach..

Perfect First Trip To Jamaica

We loved our stay at Villa de la Sable, loved the Treasure Beach area and are very glad we chose it for our first visit to the island. The people in the Treasure Beach area are incredibly warm and welcoming. We did our research prior to choosing Treasure Beach. Many people we'd spoken to who had been to the more popular resort areas of Jamaica warned us of some of the downsides (crime, aggressive beach vendors mainly). Everything we read about Treasure Beach turned out to be true. We walked everywhere, day and night. We often had entire beaches to ourselves. The locals are so friendly. Probably not the perfect area for someone looking for a crazy party scene, the beach shack bars seemed to get pretty quiet early, which was fine with us, as we were usually wiped out from the day's activities. We did the YS Falls tour along with Appleton Rum Factory. Sylvan was our driver and he was a blast. Rented scooters for a couple of days and toured around Treasure Beach, exploring all of the bays. Met so many interesting characters. I could go on and on. Rebecca was great, Petrina cooked awesome meals every day, the villa was even better than the pictures. We are already planning to revisit Treasure Beach, this time with our kids.

Comfort & Relaxation in the 'Real' Jamaica

Villa de la Sable was a little slice of paradise. Our family of four (two teen daughters) stayed here over Spring Break, 2012. We could not have been more relaxed and well taken care of. Treasure Tours was the rental agent that we booked through, communicated with, and who also provided for all our transportation needs. They were very thorough, took care of all our needs and were very friendly to deal with. The property, collectively known as Sparkling Waters, consists of three rentable homes and the owners home and is on a nice piece of property about a mile from the center of Treasure Beach - a small, laid back fishing town. The three similar houses physically on the property are the owners home, the home we rented, Villa de la Sable, and Villa de l'Ocean. (There is a third stand alone home, Villa du Soleil that is just up the beach and stands spectacularly over the tidal pools of the bay.) Villa de la Sable sits centrally, overlooking a magnificent free-form, infinity edged pool and spa that overlooks a huge deck that is perched some fifty feet above the ocean - the views are sublime! The property is landscaped with wonderful flowering bushes, palms, cactus and trees and is well maintained with stone paths and lighting throughout. There is also a thatched roof hut that has benches, a hammock and a basket chair and overlooks the same scenery as the pool - a wonderful place to relax out of the sun. On the west end of the property there are concrete, railed stairs that lead down to a secluded beach with decent snorkeling opportunities and some good sand for laying out, but that is not ideal for swimming due to lots of coral. There are lots of really cool tide pools along the beach and with proper footwear it is a lot of fun to explore. Villa de la Sable is wonderfully relaxed with lots of windows and big doors that create an open-air flow for the main floor (living room/dining room combo, bathroom with tub/shower and a small kitchen.) We left the doors and windows open all day long and the ocean breezes always kept things nice and cool. The upstairs sleeping area is accessed by a neat spiral staircase and has two large bedrooms each with a queen bed, and dressers/armoires, and a spacious bathroom with tub and shower. The bedrooms have very efficient room remote controlled AC units that keep sleeping temps very comfortable and if bugs are a problem, keep things nice and unbuggy. You can also open everything up to a large balcony that stretches the length of the front of the house and is a wonderful place to sit and read a book in the morning hours - beautiful! As are a lot of rental homes in Jamaica, Villa de la Sable provides a staff that make your vacation perfectly carefree. The cooks/housekeepers, Petrina and Tonarge, live nearby and work with you to plan breakfast and dinner meals. You just let them know when you want to get up for breakfast or what time you'd like to eat dinner, what you like/don't like, and they do the rest - no cooking, no dishes, and the meals are delicious! Breakfasts range from banana pancakes, bacon, festival, omelets, fresh fruits, and fried plantains; dinners might showcase: brown stew chicken or beef, coconut shrimp, fresh lobster with callaloo, rice and peas, and sweet or regular potatoes. Petrina and Tonarge are very gracious hosts, do a great job with the food and keep the villa neat and tidy the whole time you're there - really nice ladies! The groundskeeper, Leandy, also does a great job keeping the pool sparkling clean, and the grounds immaculate and beautiful. The views and the pool are the star here and you can easily find yourself just 'zoning out' for long periods staring off at the sparkling ocean, feeling the cool breezes and the warm sun, and listening to the constant peaceful crash of the waves coming onto shore - just so wonderful! If you are looking for crazy parties and discos, this probably isn't the place. But if you want some time to get away and be at peace, than the spectacular scenery, easy lifestyle, good friendly people, simple delicious food (either in your own home, or at excellent local casual restaurants) will leave you wanting to stay longer and long to come back.
