This newly constructed villa located directly on the sea is a stunning example of Caribbean living where the indoor and outdoor spaces blend beautifully. The lush landscape of the property spills into the breathtaking entryway garden and fish pond. The main living/dining area is perfectly nestled between this garden and the swimming pool verandah. Filled with comfy furniture and loads of fabulous Jamaican art this truly is a special place.
There are six bedrooms total. Five bedrooms are en suite, however, if the 6th bedroom is used it would then share a bathroom with the 5th bedroom.
The first floor sea facing bedroom has a queen bed and its own secret garden with a completely private outdoor shower. The sea facing master suite located on the 2nd floor has a king bed, indoor/outdoor showers, a balcony overlooking the pool and the sea and a balcony overlooking the entry garden and fish pond. The second sea facing bedroom has a queen bed and the other three bedrooms one located on the first floor and two located on the second floor have two twin beds each which can be converted into a king bed. All bedrooms with the exception of the 6th bedroom have a patio or balcony again allowing the blending of indoor/outdoor living.
Renee, your housekeeper and Sean your on-site caretaker will make sure you are fed well and all of your needs are being taken care of allowing you a stress free holiday.
Walk down to the end of the property and onto Billy’s Bay beach where you can take a left, walk to the fishing beach and watch the fishermen unloading their catch of the day. Soak in the reef made pools of the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea. When weather permits, there is good snorkelling right off of the beach. Or take a stroll into the village and enjoy a cold beer at a local bar, some good food at a local cook shop, and maybe even join in on a game of dominoes!
Experience the peacefulness of Alamar.

We stayed at Alamar in January 2022 with four couples and it was absolutely perfect! Renae exceeded our expectations at every turn! She was a phenomenal cook and very attentive. We especially liked the pool and outside spaces. The home itself is so unique and beautiful. It was our second time to Treasure Beach and we are counting the days until we can return! The community charm is something like no other place we have been to.
We stayed at Alamar for 5 days in March 2020 to finish off our trip as our previous villa was unavailable for our whole trip. We were grateful for this opportunity to experience another villa in the Billy's Bay area and although it was short we were not dissapointed and it definitely left us looking forward to staying again.
This villa is one of a kind with an expansive incredible view of the ocean, unique architectural design, luxurious grounds with an abundance of flowers/plants/birds and direct access to a calm swimming area on a beautiful beach.
Staff: Reene prepared amazing authentic food for us every day and was really attentive to our special request. She also offered to do laundry for us when needed an added bonus with kids! Shaun (Kallimar) was always available for us and kept the pool and grounds immaculate. The time passed so fast, we didn’t spend enough time reasoning with him this time, but I’m sure next time we will.
Location: Best swimming in the area right in front of the villa’s gate on the beach. Our kids loved it so much they called it their private pool. It’s right in the “center” of Billy’s Bay with less than 5 minutes’ walk to the local store and a cook shop -not that you will need more food than what Renée will be cooking! A 5 minute beach walk to 77 West, a local boutique hotel. A 10 minute scooter drive to Fort Charles beach. A 5 minute walk to the local bar where you can get your ass wooped at dominoes! A 5 minute beach walk to the local fishing beach from where all the boats leave. Snorkeling right in from of the villa as well.
Facilities:
Very comfortable. Very clean when we arrived. We only stayed for 4 nights, so did not experience “ongoing cleaning” as we felt it was not necessary. The pool is exceptional. The most beautiful one we’ve seen in a villa in treasure beach. It is two teared, making a perfect place to lounge with chairs or have younger kids safely play and then also a perfect length to do pool lengths for a little exercise:) Most rooms have outdoor showers which is a favorite of ours while in Jamaica and must be amazing in the summer. We always felt very safe. There was a bike for us to use as well, which was an added and welcomed bonus. Although we did not have a chance to use it.
Potential improvements:
This is a recently bulit villa therefore it is hard to find any improvements really. However, a blender is a definite must! and it would have been nice to have regular acess to kitchen teatowels and wash towels (with the kiddos). We did see a box for a safe but there was not one accessible or set up. This would be a nice feature for added security for valuables/passports. Also, maybe a scrabble game on site for those of us who don’t know how to play Lude…although we will be sure to learn next time!
